Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson, born 7 July 1968 is an American actress. She is well-known for her performances on CBS as Linda Reagan and NBC as Alex Taylor.
Early life
Carlson was born in Elmhurst in Illinois (DuPage County, Illinois], close to Chicago. Her family was raised in Glen Ellyn in Illinois by her parents, Robert Eugene Carlson and Barbara Jane (Hultman), teachers at school. Carlson is of Swedish descent and has roots from Smaland.
Career
1986-1992: College , and early career
She came into Hollywood when she worked as a background actor in the film Lucas featuring Charlie Sheen, Corey Haim and Winona Ryder. She later joined her sister Betsy (Knox College) to Galesburg.
