Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish actor and model since 11 November 1996. She made her film debut as an actress and Bond girl on the set of A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she was in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody played Nazi sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan donavan was part of A Prayer for the Dying in 1987. Charlotte appeared in Taffin (in 1988) and Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody became a model after the opportunity was offered by an aspiring photographer. Her career has since evolved into commercial modelling. Doody did not shy away from glamour or naked work, a rule that was extended to her acting career. In 1985, after being noticed by the directors who were casting a James Bond new film, Doody took a small part in Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody was named one of the 12 most promising young actors in the year 1986 by John Willis Screen World. 38. Doody had just turned 18 years old when she took on the role as a Bond girl. Doody is the youngest Bondgirl to date. A Prayer for the Dying (1997) with Mickey Rourke, also featured a smaller role as IRA Siobhan. Doody played a non-speaking part in the 1987 TV version of The Secret Garden appearing as Archibald Craven's wife Lilias in a dream. Doody performed the role of Sapsorrow in the episode of Jim Henson's fantasy series The Storyteller, opposite John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She played opposite Pierce Brosnan, in the 1988 film Taffin. In the following film, she played her most memorable role to date in the film Taffin as Austrian Archaeologist and Nazisympathiser Doctor. Elsa Schneider playing alongside Harrison Ford. Doody played alongside Sean Connery in the film, as Indy's dad. Doody was co-starring with Jonathan Pryce, in the British miniseries Selling Hitler. The series was an inspiration for the Hitler Diaries publishing scam. Following her move to Hollywood, Doody became a star. It was her choice to succeed Cybill Shepard in the role of L'Oreal spokeswoman. She continued to play opposite Charlie Sheen as Flannery, his wife and agent in Major League II. Doody played a role in the 2004 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine was her character in a celebration for an award. The roles she played include an appearance in a TV movie version of King Solomon's Mines in 2004 and a book about the Holocaust, and the short film Benjamin's Struggle in 2005. In 2010, Doody shot a part in Danny Dyer's film The Rapture (2010). She was also set to be the main character for The Asphyx remake, but that project fell through. In 2011, she started the first of two seasons on the E4 comedy drama Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. In 2014, she was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way. The Almeria Tierra de Film Award was given to her on the 21st of November in 2018. She also received a star on the Almeria Walk Of Fame.
